Eat. Pray. Love. [Inspired]

In Mentalization, Ponder, Real Life No Gimmicks on September 11, 2010 at 13:50

Every day we go through life, experiencing. Seeking solutions to our problems. It’s not easy. But everything is a journey and the sooner we realize that there is NO destination, the sooner we can embrace our journey and travel it and appreciate the lessons along the way. Truth of the matter is, the only time our journey will end is when our lives do. So its best, we make the best of it.

I’m in love with life and each day we grow together I find a deeper meaning and reason to love life more. It won’t end, until the end. After watching the film “Eat, Pray, Love”, it gave me a sense of realization that sometimes it’s essential that we be selfish in order to learn how to be selfless. At times we can lose ourselves while trying to give too much of ourselves to others. We must be conscious of that. This movie was powerfully impacting and surreal with insight. I saw it long ago and this post is far overdue, but if you haven’t seen it, believe me, it’s an absolute must see.

The ultimate goal at hand is to continue to proceed with life, in a positive direction. Not speaking from expertise, merely speaking from experience. Onward and Upward. You Should Come!

  1. well having read the book.. i thought the movie was a pc of crap…very poor job of translating book to film… the book however was outstanding..

i think everyone would benefit from such an experience… unfortunately how many of us can afford to take a year off from work and travel the world?

i guess we have to find more realistic journies…weekend retreats… yoga classes… workshops at the Buddhist center… reading…writing… learning to fall in love with ourselves. understanding how to nourish our bodies…and our souls…

    great post!
