Truth Is

“Before you can inspire with emotion, you must be swamped with it yourself. Before you can move their tears, your own must flow. To convince them, you must yourself believe.” Winston Churchill

If more people understood this concept, I think the world would potentially be in a greater state. Many people lack the sense of emotion to inspire and have a single selfish motive that drives them and later wonder why it ends at a road that’s solemn and lonely. One can’t expect another to have sympathy and compassion for him, when he’s never exhibited it toward anyone else. It’s merely impossible to convince someone of anything that you’re not even remotely sure you believe. Even if it’s something that you wholeheartedly don’t believe, I assure you, you must first convince yourself in some way or another, before you are allowed to make others out of a believer. It’s the facts that we live by.
